I recently had a great stay at a hotel in downtown Taipei near Songshan Airport. The location was perfect for my early morning flight, as it was just a short walk from the nearest train station. The hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money, as the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Breakfast was also included and offered a variety of delicious options each day. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the convenience of this hotel.
No aspect that needs improvement.

This is an old hotel with cheap cost. But position is good. Especially good for backpackers.

The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, which made transportation easy. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and ample electric outlets. The staff, particularly Ms. Mimi, were helpful and accommodating in storing our luggage and arranging our airport transfer. The breakfast area was also spacious and had a good variety of options.
Nothing negative to say.

I liked the room, it was quite big for something of that price in Taipei. We booked a triple and the room we got was basically divided into two rooms with one bathroom, a small kitchenette, two TVs... The wireless internet worked well and the overall hotel was pretty quiet so we did manage to get uninterrupted sleep.
The tv remotes weren't working properly. The carpets didn't make me feel comfortable to walk barefoot on. Perhaps they should upgrade the TVs and also put in new carpeting. My friend, who is a Christian, didn't like the Buddhist shrine by the reception lobby. That's ok for me since I am not religious, but it might be offensive to some people. However, most hotels abroad have a Bible in each room, so what do they have to say about that?!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is good for businessman or even for holidays stayers. It's location is near to mrt , just a few minutes walk away. There are many eateries around, locals or internationals.
I have my breakfast at the hotel on the first day of stay and I find that the food serves is not up to my expection and is cold. I skip taking brreakfast after that.

This hotel near the metro station is a great find for budget conscious travelers! the location near the Zhongshan high School metro station makes getting around the city a breeze. the hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with great aircon and comfortable beds. the breakfast is adequate, and there are plenty of local food options nearby. the staff is friendly and accommodating, always willing to help out with anything you need.
The hotel could benefit from some renovations to make it feel less dated.

Location was good. Size of the room is good for 2 adults, a 6 and a 4 yr old. Bathroom is clean as well. Staff are friendly, and helpful especially the ones on duty during the day. Very helpful in giving directions, which places to go to, etc.
They have poor air conditioning. It seems like they shut off the cooling system from 1am onwards and turns it back on in the morning. When I complained to the person on duty, he wasn't as helpful. He couldn't speak English as he was a Korean while my Chinese wasn't fluent as well. It was a bad first night as we all woke up perspiring. Both kids had a hard time sleeping as well. The following night was the same although I made sure the staff would do something this time. True enough, after 15mins, cool air came flowing in. Unfortunately, the same thing happened every night. In all, we only had 1 good night's rest in all 4 nights stay there.

very good location, just next to MRT station and there are many restaurants around the hotel.
very old hotel indeed and the floor in the bathroom was effused water after shower. If you would like to have a comfortable journey, this is not your first choice.

The location is pretty good, close to MRT station and quite down-town. The price was fair, too.
The building and the interior is quite old. Hygiene is not perfect, either.
